Percy Harvin was held out of practice Wednesday as he continues to deal with a sprained ankle. The Star Tribune reports Harvin still has some swelling in the ankle, but is confident he’ll be able to play against Chicago.
Harvin told reporters he’s “itching” to practice and see where his ankle is at.
Left guard Charlie Johnson missed practice with a toe injury. He and Harvin were the only non-participants. After being held out of Monday’s practice, Letroy Guion and Michael Jenkins participated on a limited basis.
Defensive back Chris Cook is on injured reserve with a broken arm, but it’s possible that he could recover in time to play a week 16 game at Houston. Cook says he’s still in “high spirits” because, in his mind, he’s “coming back this year.
