Harvard scored late in the third period to force overtime and went on to beat the Gophers 4-3 to claim the title in the 25th annual Mariucci Classic on Saturday night.
Steve Johnson’s first career goal put the Gophers up 3-2 with 5:31 to play in the game, but Harvard tied the game with its goalie pulled with just 34 seconds left in the third.
Kyle Criscuolo had both the game-tying and game-winning goals for the Crimson.
Goal, Harvard. Crimson tie it up with the extra attacker, :34 seconds to play. All tied up at Mariucci, 3-3.

Harvard defeated Ferris State 7-3 on Friday while the Gophers topped Connecticut 3-2 on Friday.
