Harrison Smith, who has two touchdown returns following an interception this year, talked about his latest hit on KFAN-FM 100.3 today.
In the third quarter of the Vikings’ win over Chicago Sunday, Smith picked off Bears QB Jay Cutler an ran it back 56 yards for a touchdown, giving Minnesota a 21-7 lead at the time.
“It’s always fun to get the ball in your hands,” Smith told Vikings play-by-play man Paul Allen today. “I just tried to get my way down the sideline.”
Up next for Smith and the 7-6 Vikings: St. Louis.
“There is a bunch of confidence in the locker room right now,” Smith said. “We’re just ready to get this next win.”
