It’s quite fitting that after posting another shutout Monday night against the Flyers, Minnesota Wild goalie Josh Harding was named the NHL’s Third Star of the month for November on Tuesday, according to the Star Tribune.
The Wild went 8-2-2 in games Harding started last month, and he posted an outstanding 1.88 goals-against average. He leads the league with a 1.45 GAA for the season.
His win over the Flyers on Monday was his 14th of the season – a new career high.
Harding is ranked second among goalies with a .939 save percentage.
NHL.com notes that Harding has had a ton of success at the Xcel Energy Center. He is 6-1-0 at home this season, and 32-10-2 in 44 career starts at the X.
