They’re back.
The Minnesota Wild, who erased a long losing streak in Dallas with a 7-4 win over the Stars Monday night, are back in Big D tonight for a rematch.
The crazy, lockout-shortened season puts the Wild back in Texas for the second time in five days.
With a win, Minnesota can stretch its season-best winning streak to eight games — and match a franchise record for the most victories in a month.
Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom didn’t make the trip, however, as coach Mike Yeo decided to give him a rest after starting 12-consecutive games.
Matt Hackett will get the start instead, according to Fox Sports North, making his season debut.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m., with the game televised on Fox Sports North-Plus.
