Chad Greenway’s performance through two games has left much to be desired.
Yahoo! Sports contributer, Chris Schad, thinks Greenway has been “shockingly” bad so far.
Greenway admits that he’s been playing a “little hesitant” this season, but he argues that he hasn’t lost any of his talent.
“It’s not where it went. It hasn’t gone anywhere,” Greenway told the Pioneer Press. “The reality is it is what it is at this point. Any player, they’ve gone through stretches where they haven’t played their best football, and it’s certainly not my first time.”
When the questions about his level of play kept coming on Wednesday, Greenway got defensive.
“The reality is you guys don’t have any idea what’s being taught or coached in that room,” he said. “So without getting into the details of it, I’m just going to answer questions like this and you’re going to wonder what the real answer is, but you’re not going to get it.”
To help bolster a struggling linebacking corp, 1500 ESPN reports that Desmond Bishop could finally see some playing time this week against Cleveland.
Bishop admitted he’s a little frustrated watching on the sideline.
“Yeah, a little bit,” Bishop said. “That’s something I can’t control, I don’t worry about it too much.”
The Vikings signed Bishop late in the offseason after he was released by the Packers.
