Mikael Granlund, the Wild’s top prospect, is expected to miss 2-4 weeks after suffering a lateral sprain to his right ankle while playing for the Houston Aeros last week.
He, along with top defensive prospect Jonas Brodin appeared to suffer severe injuries in the same game. The news for Brodin isn’t as positive. He’ll miss up to eight weeks with a broken clavicle. His injury could require surgery.
