For one of the few times this season the Gophers are actually favored. The latest odds released by USA Today have Minnesota as a three-and-a-half point favorite, even though they’re playing on the road.
It’s also rare when Minnesota has a winning streak on the road against another Big Ten team, but that’s exactly what they have against Illinois. The Gophers have won three consecutive games in Champagne.
