The Golden Gophers aren’t a 100 percent lock to make the NCAA Tournament, but they’re close after winning at No. 24 Maryland, 89-75 Wednesday night.
Minnesota trailed 35-34 at the half before blowing the doors off the Terrapins down the stretch, outscoring them 55-40 in the second half.
The Gophers improved to 21-7 overall and 9-6 in the Big Ten. They could lose all three remaining Big Ten regular season games and still likely make the tournament.

Dupree McBrayer led the Gophers with 18 points off the bench. Nate Mason (17), Akeem Springs (16), Jordan Murphy (15) and Amir Coffey (13) joined McBrayer in double figures.
ESPN and CBS Sports will release updated bracketology on Thursday and the Gophers will likely be seeded in the 5-7 range, with the higher seed from CBS Sports.
