The No. 13 Gophers dominated Lafayette 75-50 in NCAA Basketball action at Williams Arena Saturday night, The Associated Press reports.
Starting guard Joe Coleman led the Gophers with 12 points and the team added another 42 from the bench.
The Gophers dominated the Leopards throughout, leading 37-22 at halftime, and at one point in the second half they led 67-37.
The team forced 19 turnovers from the Leopards — 12 of which came in the first half.
The win concludes the Gophers nonconference schedule. They head into their Big Ten schedule with a 12-1 record as they take on No. 20 Michigan State Dec. 31 at home. Game time is 1 p.m.
