Coleman also turned the ball over 8 times. As a team, the Gophers committed 19 turnovers — six more than Toledo.
Rodney Williams scored 12 points to go along with 8 rebounds (5 offensive) and 4 steals. Trevor Mbakwe played 14 minutes in his second game since tearing his ACL last November. He scored 6 points and pulled down 7 rebounds.
The goal coming into the game was to make a higher percentage of shots. As a team, the Gophers shot 49.1-percent overall and 35.7-percent from three-point range.
