The Gophers scored three power play goals en route to a 3-2 win over Wisconsin at the Kohl Center on Friday night.
Minnesota’s goals came from Sam Warning, Nick Bjugstad and Seth Ambroz, who scored the game-winner.
The Gophers outshot the Badgers, 43-3o. Minnesota freshman goalie Adam Wilcox stopped 28 of 30 shots on goal.
In anticipation for Sunday’s contest at Soldier Field, the Gophers will hold their first outdoor practice of the season on Saturday.
