With just one week remaining in the race for the MacNaughton Cup, the Gophers men’s hockey team maintains a firm hold on the No. 2 ranking in the PairWise and USCHO polls. Quinnipiac is No. 1 in both polls.
The Western Collegiate Hockey Association race has come down to the final weekend. St. Cloud State still leads with 35 points. Minnesota and North Dakota are tied with 33 points. Minnesota State and Wisconsin can still mathematically tie SCSU, but their chances are minimal.
