If you had trouble finding where to watch the Gophers against Canisius and UCLA during last weekend’s NCAA Tournament games, you’ll have a much easier time finding them now that they’ve advanced to the Super Regional round.
Minnesota and Oregon State will be featured on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. Friday as they begin their best-of-three series in the Super Regional in Corvallis, Oregon.
It’s a nice change from their games being stream-only via ESPN3 during last weekend’s Minneapolis Regional, in which the Gophers cruised to three wins over Canisius and UCLA.
Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will also be televised on ESPN.
Game 2 is set for Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday’s third game, if necessary, will start at 8 p.m.

The winner of the Super Regional advances to the College World Series, which the Gophers haven’t been to Paul Molitor played for them in 1977.
The Gophers have won 28 of 31 games dating back to March 30, but the Beavers will be far and away their toughest challenge yet this season. Oregon State finished ranked second in the national polls and received the No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Gophers were 11th in the polls and landed the 14th overall seed.
Oregon State also has a dominating left-handed starting pitcher and one of the most explosive lineups in the country, led by Nick Madrigal, who was taken by the Chicago White Sox with the fourth overall pick in Monday’s MLB Draft, and right fielder Trevor Larnach, whom the Twins selected 20th overall.
