Four-star recruits are becoming a theme for the Gophers this recruiting season, and another one has listed Minnesota in his final five college choices.
Najee Story, a defensive end from Ohio, is deciding between the Gophers, Penn State, Tennessee, Northwestern and his home state Ohio State Buckeyes.

According to Cleveland.com, Story might be ranked higher than he is if not for a serious leg injury he suffered as a sophomore. 247Sports currently rates him as the 235th-best prospect in the Class of 2021, and the ninth-best player in Ohio’s 2021 graduating class.
247Sports’ team rankings, which change daily, currently has the Gophers ranked 7th in the nation in terms of the top 2021 recruiting classes.
Minnesota has 11 commitments so far, including a trio of four-star recruits: Avante Dickerson, a cornerback from Nebraska, Athan Kaliakmanis, a quarterback from Illinois, and Steven Ortiz, a cornerback from Arizona.
