The NFL Combine wrapped up Monday in Indianapolis with some blazing fast speed 40-yard-dash times by defensive backs.
Jalen Myrick, the former Golden Gopher, clocked the fastest 40 of the day at 4.28 seconds. According to ESPN, it’s the fastest 40 at the Combine by a defensive back since 2006. It’s also the first Combine in a dozen years with two players breaking 4.3 seconds, according to ESPN.
Washington wide receiver John Ross set the all-time record with a time of 4.22 seconds.
Myrick’s speed and ability to return kicks could make him an attractive prospect in April’s Draft.
