Our best wishes go out to Gophers hockey player Jake Parenteau, who suffered a broken leg in Minnesota’s shootout loss at Michigan State last Friday.
Parenteau can be heard screaming in pain in this video.
“He’s screaming. I can hear him,” FOX Sports North analyst Tom Chorske said after Parenteau suffered the injury.

Parenteau underwent surgery on his leg on Monday and he posted a before and after picture on Twitter to show the results.
Surgery was a success! Time for the road to recovery! Thanks @Winslow_Jeff And my mother for everything today! pic.twitter.com/qDxXmyLG4R

College Hockey News reported that Parenteau is expected to miss two months of action. The good news is that Minnesota is off the next three weeks for a holiday break. They’re back on the ice January 3rd when they host the Mariucci Classic.
