The Gopher hockey team beat Ohio State 5-1 on Friday night.
The Gophers will have a chance to clinch the Big Ten Championship Saturday if they can complete the sweep of the Buckeyes.
Final: @GopherHockey 5, Ohio State 1… but Wisconsin beat Penn State 4-2… so no B1G clinch. Can still come w/ win tomorrow though.

Five different Gophers got into the scoring act on Friday night. Justin Kloos, Kyle Rau, Taylor Cammarata, Conner Reilly and Vinni Lettieri all scored.
In addition to his goal, freshman Cammarata also had two assists. Conner Reilly added an assist to go with his goal and Mike Reilly added a pair of assists.
The Gophers outshot the Buckeyes 33-31 in the game, but again Minnesota’s Adam Wilcox continued his top-notch play in net stopping 30 of the 31 shots the Buckeyes fired at him.
The Gophers were 2 of 4 on the power play, but Wilcox and the Gopher penalty kill stopped the Buckeyes on all three of their opportunities.
Minnesota (24-4-5, 12-2-2) meets up with Ohio State again tomorrow night.
