The NFL Draft is right around the corner, but you have to go to the University of Minnesota if you want some real football this time of year.
Unfortunately, the Gophers full-contact scrimmage scheduled for Friday at TCF Bank Stadium has been moved inside to the Bierman practice facility because of snow.
“You don’t complain about what you don’t have,” head coach Jerry Kill told the Star Tribune. “You use what you have and get your kids better, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”
Despite being forced inside, the Gophers will keep the practice full pads with full contact.
The practice is open to the public, who will get an opportunity to see the growth the team’s wide receiver corp has made.
