Daniel Oturu is looking to cash in on his breakout sophomore season as the Gophers forward/center declared that he will enter the 2020 NBA Draft per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Oturu was a force for the Gophers throughout last season averaging 20.1 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
In addition to being a second-team All-Big Ten selection, Oturu was the first Gopher to be an All-America selection since Quincy Lewis made the cut in the 1998-99 season.
While Oturu’s numbers are worthy of an NBA prospect, it remains to be seen where he’ll be drafted. Currently, Oturu is ranked 37th in ESPN’s Jonathan Gilroy’s top 100 prospect rankings.
