The Gophers trailed Nebraska-Omaha in the third period before Nick Bjugstad’s team-leading 23rd goal of the season tied the game 2-2. Minnesota traded punches with the Mavericks over the rest of the period, but at the 1:46 mark of overtime, Gophers’ winger Jake Parenteau buried one in the back of the net for the game-winner.
