The 12th member of the 2024 Gophers recruiting class is Julian Johnson, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound athlete from Aurora, Illinois.
Johnson, who projects as a tight end at the University of Minnesota, announced his intentions to play for head coach P.J. Fleck and the Gophers on Wednesday night.
According to 247Sports’ Ryan Burns, Johnson’s stock has risen greatly with numerous offers flooding his mailbox in the past month. He picked Minnesota over offers from Texas A&M, Iowa, Kansas State, Indiana, Missouri and Purdue.
