The No. 2 Gopher women’s hockey team finished off its regular season with a 4-2 win, sweeping a weekend series against the Bemidji State Beavers.
Senior Meghan Lorence wrapped up her regular season with her 100th career point, Gopher Sports reports.
Megan Wolfe, Dani Cameranesi and Maryanne Menefee each had one goal and one assist. Cameranesi had four points one the night.
The Beavers put the first point on the board, scoring just under two minutes into the game. Minnesota took over in the second period, adding two goals and holding Bemidji scoreless in the second.
Minnesota scored a quick third goal 1:24 into the third. BSU responded less than five minutes later with an unassisted goal. Cameranesi made an unassisted goal of her own in the final minute of play.
Freshman goalie Sidney Peters had 19 saves.
Minnesota outshot BSU 33-21. Minnesota went 1-2 in power plays, while BSU went 0-2.

The Gophers beat the Beavers 3-2 Friday. With the weekend sweep, the Gophers end the regular season with 29-2-4 record.
The Gophers have home ice advantage in the first round of WCHA playoffs, and they’ll host Minnesota State in a best-of-three series starting Friday, Feb. 27.
