The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team skated to a draw in Anchorage Saturday night, according to the Pioneer Press. The 2-2 tie with Alaska Anchorage came late Saturday night in the final matchup in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association weekend series. Gopher Erik Haula tied the game with his fifth goal of the season.
The Gophers defeated the Seawolves 4-0 in the series opener late Friday.
The Gophers (6-2-1, 3-2-1 WCHA) are ranked No. 2 in the country. They return to Mariucci Arena for a series against Wisconsin next weekend.
