Blake Bortles has won fewer games in his three-year career than he’s thrown interceptions that have been returned for touchdowns, according to The Big Lead.
- Bortles wins: 10
- Bortles pick-sixes: 11
And Bortles has been throwing them nearly weekly in the last month.
Houston’s Kareem Jackson picked off Bortles and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown in Week 10. Detroit’s Rafael Bush got him for a pick-six in Week 11. And Denver’s Bradley Roby got him last Sunday.
The #Vikings' best chance to score touchdowns Sunday might be when Bortles on the field.

What’s worse is that Bortles is awful under pressure. Take this from ESPN:
“Per Pro Football Focus, Bortles’ passer rating under pressure was just 9.8. The Vikings have the third-highest pressure rate in the league and have allowed the fourth-fewest points per drive and the third lowest touchdown-per-drive rate.”
Jacksonville’s offensive is downright bad – kind of like the Vikings, actually. They can’t run the ball or throw the ball and they turn it over constantly. With a give/take of minus 18, the Jaguars have the worst turnover ratio in the NFL. The Vikings, at plus 13, have the second best turnover ratio.
There’s a very good chance the Vikings eat Bortles alive on Sunday, even with all-pro safety Harrison Smith out with a bad ankle sprain.
