Amanda Zahui B. was a one-person wrecking crew for the Gopher women’s basketball team Tuesday night as she led Minnesota to a 93-80 victory over No. 13 Iowa at Williams Arena.
The Stockholm, Sweden, native scored 39 points and grabbed a program-record 29 rebounds in leading the Gophers to an important victory.
That last rebound for Zahui also broke the program record for rebounds in a single game. #BeastMode

Sweet mercy. @AmandaZahui of the #gophers finished with 39 points and 29 rebounds tonight. Most dominant player in MN sports currently?

Adding to the remarkable game for Zahui, she ran up those big numbers on a night when she also surpassed a major career milestone.
Zahui hits both at the line, and that will give her officially 1,000 career points (and counting) with the #Gophers! pic.twitter.com/EtraiKwKXJ

But the great part about Zahui’s big night, is that she wasn’t alone. She led four Gophers who finished in double figures. Carlie Wagner scored 17 points and Shae Kelley added 13, while Mikayla Bailey chipped in 10.
All of that added up to Minnesota’s 21st victory of the season.
The Gophers (21-6) host Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
