Winger Jason Pominville won’t travel to Chicago for Game 2 of the Wild-Blackhawks playoff series, according to the Pioneer Press.
Coach Mike Yeo says Pominville is still day-to-day after the head injury he suffered against the Los Angeles Kings April 23.
Goalie Niklas Backstrom and defenseman Clayton Stoner also didn’t skate today, but they will make the trip.
Yeo says they’re day-to-day as well, but it’s highly unlikely they play in Game 2.
If Backstrom can’t play, Josh Harding will get the start. Justin Falk is set to step in for Stoner.
