Keep holding on, Vikings fans, Leslie Frazier will announce the starting quarterback sometime this week — just not today.
At his Wednesday press conference, Frazier declined to name the starting QB for Sunday’s pivotal game against the Carolina Panthers.
“I just want to see the guys move around, see what they’re doing, how they’re doing things and then just make a determination as time goes on,” Frazier said during his press conference, according to the Pioneer Press.

Tom Peliserro of USA Today reports that Matt Cassel took the first-team reps in practice Wednesday. Cassel seemingly earned the right to start with his performance in leading the Vikings to win over the Steelers, but he knows there’s no guarantee.
Cassel: "I don't expect anything. You go out there, you work hard & you see what happens. If coach calls my number, I'll be ready." #Vikings
