Ohio State Buckeyes 1
Minnesota Gophers 4
The Minnesota Gophers hockey team advanced to the Big Ten hockey championship after they skated to a 4-2 victory over Ohio State Friday night at Xcel Energy Center.
1. Gophers rally for 4-goal third
The Gophers entered the third period staring at a 1-0 deficit, and despite peppering shots at the Ohio State net had not been able to break through. But everything changed in the third as Minnesota rattled off four unanswered goals.
2. Lights, Cammerata, Action
When the big lights went on inside ‘The X’ Gophers forward Taylor Cammerata got to action. The junior forward scored a pair of goals leading the Gophers to the victory.
