The Star Tribune reports Williams has boarded a flight from New York with “nothing really to report,” following his visit with the Giants.

Williams arrived in New York Monday night for the Tuesday meeting with the Giants.
The 33-year-old Williams has started at defensive tackle for the Vikings in all 11 of his seasons with the team. He made six Pro Bowls and was named first-team all-pro five times.
The Giants are looking for a defensive tackle to play alongside Cullen Jenkins and Williams was effective for the Vikings last season. The 33-year-old finished with 29 tackles, 3.5 sacks, four passes defensed and an interception.
It was Williams’ first visit with another team, after the Vikings ruled Williams out of their plans along the defensive line.
The Vikings signed former Giants nose tackle Linval Joseph earlier in free agency.
