Former Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph recently sold his home in Orono, Minnesota for $13.5 million.
A certificate for real estate value filed in Hennepin County shows that the sale on the five-acre property on Fox Street closed on July 24, with the sellers listed as Kyle and Jordan Rudolph, who were represented by Jeffrey Dewing of Coldwell Banker Realty, and the buyer a company called WinterRock Holdings, LLC.
The Rudolphs’ new address is shown as being in Tampa, where the veteran tight end spent the 2022 season.
Hennepin County property records show that the property was last bought in 2018 for $2.575 million by an entity called Pelican March Trust. At the time of the sale, it was a vacant lot.
According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, a 2019 permit showed that a home was being built at the property. The website also notes that Timberwolves legend Kevin Garnett is among the Minnesota celebrities who have also sold properties on Fox Street in the past.
Rudolph was released by the Vikings in 2021 after ten years with the team, having been drafted 43rd overall by Minnesota in 2011, and having signed a four-year, $36 million extension in 2019.
He spent the 2021 season with the New York Giants and last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He remains a free agent and hasn’t called time on his career yet, though it was reported earlier this year that he has a new gig calling Big Ten games for NBC this fall.
