Former Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has been traded again.
According to ESPN’s John Clayton, Harvin has been traded from Seattle to the New York Jets for a conditional pick in 2015, which will range from a second- to a fourth-round pick,

In five games for Seattle this year, Harvin has 22 catches for 133 yards and he hasn’t scored a touchdown. He also has rushed for 92 yards on 11 carries.
Pro Football Talk notes that such a huge deal during the middle of a season is “practically unheard of.”
“If the Jets were going to do something like this, a better time would have been before they started 1-6.
And for the Seahawks, the defense of their title just got more complicated without a dynamic playmaker.”
According to PFT, there may have been stress developing between Harvin and quarterback Russell Wilson, with Wilson feeling too much pressure to get Harvin the ball.
The other factor may have simply just come down to money.
Harvin signed a six-year $64.25 million extension with the Seahawks after the Vikings trade. According to CBS Sports, Seattle will be negotiating an extension with Wilson after the season and may need the extra cap room.
When the Seahawks acquired Harvin from the Vikings prior to the 2013 season, they gave up first-, third- and seventh-round draft picks. Seattle got just 10 games out of Harvin, including the Super Bowl.
The Vikings used the pick (25th overall in 2013) to draft cornerback Xavier Rhodes. He was one of three first-round picks the Vikings had in the draft (Sharrif Floyd and Cordarrelle Patterson).
