Frank Pastore, a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Twins in 1986, was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Monday in Los Angeles, USA Today reported.
Pastore pitched for the Cincinnati Reds from 1979 through 1985 before coming to the Twins for one season.
MLB.com reported that Pastore, 55, was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered severe head trauma in the collision.
The former pitcher has been a host on Christian radio station KKLA in Los Angeles since 2004.
