Former Gophers defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman has agreed to a contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
Hageman was drafted by the Falcons in the second round (#37 overall). He finished his career at Minnesota with 91 tackles (57 solo), with 10 sacks and 24 tackles for loss.
In 2013, Hageman was a third-team All-American and was a consensus All-Big Ten first-team selection. He had 38 tackles, two sacks and a career-high 13 tackles for loss.

The Falcons are moving Hageman to defensive end. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Hageman will have a chance to make an immediate impact.
Hageman tied for the third-most repetitions among defensive linemen when he recorded 32 reps on the 225 pound bench press.
He also posted a 35 1/2-inch vertical leap and 5.02 seconds in the 40-yard dash – not bad for someone who stands 6-foot-6 and weighs in at 318-pounds.
