The Vikings are now worth $975 million. Twenty NFL teams are worth more than $1 billion. The Dallas Cowboy’s are the first and only NFL franchise worth more than $2 billion.
There are five national architectural and engineering firms vying to build the new $975 million Vikings stadium that will replace the Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis.
In July, Forbes ranked the world’s top 50 most valuable sports teams. The Vikes were No. 41 overall at $796 million.
