Former Twins relief pitcher Matt Capps signed a minor-league contract with the Cleveland Indians on Thursday.
He’ll have to try and win a job with the big league club during spring training.
The right-hander had 14 saves for the Twins in 2012, but he was sidelined with shoulder inflammation for the majority of the season.
Left-hander Glen Perkins is expect to become the Twins’ full-time closer this season.
