Left-handed reliever Tyler Robertson, who was released by the Twins last week, has been picked up on waivers by the Washington Nationals, according to Fox Sports North.
Robertson, 25, was 2-2 with a 5.54 ERA in 42 relief appearances with the Twins. He was released by Minnesota to make room for outfielder Clete Thomas on the 40-man roster.
Roberston is expected to be sent to Triple-A Syracuse, the Nationals’ top farm club.
