Twins castoff Kyle Lohse has a new team.
He signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Milwaukee Brewers Monday, after spending the winter on the free agent market, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.
Lohse, who had his best season with St. Louis last year, going 16-3 with a 2.86 ERA, said the Brewers are “a good fit” for his talents. In signing Lohse, the Brewers will give up their first-round draft pick to the Cardinals.
Loshe, 34, turned down an offer from St. Louis in November.
He had a 49-52 record with Minnesota, as he pitched for the Twins from 2001-05.
