New Vikings wide receiver Mike Wallace has been called out by two of his former teammates.
In an interview with CBS 4, Dolphins offensive lineman Mike Pouncey and his twin brother, Maurkice Pouncey, a center for the Steelers, took turns taking verbal jabs at Wallace.
“In my opinion, he’s a coward,” Maurkice Pouncey said, according to the Palm Beach Post. “I never want a guy on my team like that, man, to walk out on your band of brothers.”
Mike Pouncey wasn’t as direct with his comment.
“Obviously our organization felt the way about some guys that they got those guys out of our football team,” he said. “I think it was the right move for everybody.”
Here’s the short clip of the Pouncey twins ripping Wallace.

Wallace played for the Steelers from 2009-12 and the Dolphins from 2013-14 before being traded to the Vikings last week.
As FanSided notes, Wallace wasn’t in good favor with many of his teammates after reportedly asking out of the Dolphins final regular season game last season.
Many Dolphins teammates were very displeased with Wallace’s actions today. Several tell me they felt like he abandoned them when needed.

Wallace fooled some about what happened in that '14 finale by denying my and @JeffDarlington reports. He couldn't fool his teammates.

Still wish Dolphins could have kept Wallace for his talent. But understand now it wasn't possible for chemistry sake.
