Former Gophers hockey player Nate Schmidt is sporting one of the worst haircuts in hockey history. In a sport where the flow matters, the former St. Cloud Cathedral standout is sporting a brutal look after he let Washington Capitals goalie, Braden Holtby, give him a haircut.
“It was just kind of a little bit of a mishap … a misfire on the shaver,” said a laughing Schmidt in an interview with CSN, “and this is what they came up with.”
“Holts started it… then he panicked.”
