Ervin Santana doesn’t hit much, but when he does, he crushes 3-run doubles against the San Francisco Giants.
Santana’s bases-clearing double gave the Twin a 4-0 lead against the Giants and the right-hander improved to 8-2 on the season in Minnesota’s 4-0 win. Only five other pitchers have at least eight wins this season.

Ervin Santana is the first Twins pitcher with 3+ RBI in a game since Luis Tiant in 1970. Santana was a career .118 hitter prior to tonight.
