Another day and another win for the Twins over the Indians.
Minnesota improved to 6-2 against Cleveland with a 9-3 win on Saturday, led by the red-hot bat of Eddie Rosario, who went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI, four runs and a walk.
How good has Rosario been? To be blunt, he’s playing at nearly the same level the best player in baseball, Mike Trout, is.
- Rosario: .323 AVG, 16 HR, 46 RBI, 20 2B, 86 H, 50 R, .948 OPS
- Trout: .323 AVG, 23 HR, 46 RBI, 16 2B, 81 H, 59 R, 1.136 OPS
The thing that separates Trout from Rosario is that Trout also has 58 walks and 13 stolen bases compared to just 16 walks and 6 steals for Rosario.

Meanwhile, the Twins also got two-run doubles from Eduardo Escobar, Max Kepler and Logan Morrison.
Minnesota is 25-34 against teams not named the Indians.
A win in Sunday’s series finale would put the Twins within three games of first place, but a loss would push Cleveland’s lead back to five games.
Ron Gardenhire’s Detroit Tigers are in second place, 1 1/2 games ahead of the Twins.
