East Ridge High School quarterback Seth Green announced Wednesday during a press conference at his school that he will attend the University of Oregon, the Star Tribune reports.
Green, a junior, picked the Ducks over the Gophers and Michigan State Spartans. 247 Sports recently reported that Green nearly committed to Oregon during a visit to the university last month. While on campus, he watched the Ducks dismantle Michigan State in a battle of top 10 nationally ranked teams.
His decision didn’t come as a complete surprise as he said last week that Oregon was the leading school among the three finalists.
Rivals ranks Green as the eighth best dual-threat quarterback in the national Class of 2016. ESPN’s Recruiting Nation considers Green a four-star recruit.
