The Minnesota Gophers women’s basketball team was beaten by No. 14 Duke 84-64 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge Thursday night at Cameron Indoor Arena.
1. Azura takes over
Duke sophomore guard Azura Stevens was all over the floor Thursday night. She posted her fifth double-double of the season with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
Stevens was efficient offensively as well, making 10-of-17 shots from the field and going 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

2. Shots don’t fall for Banham
Rachel Banham battled for the Gophers, scoring 21 points. But it wasn’t easy because the shots weren’t falling for her. She was just 8-of-23 shooting and 1-of-10 from the three-point line.
Banham did have three assists and three steals, but she also turned it over five times.
3. Blue Devils clean up the bricks
Duke controlled the glass Thursday night as they out rebounded Minnesota 44-30.
In addition to the double-double from Stevens, Oderah Chidom finished with 13 points and nine boards and Rebecca Greenwell had 17 points and eight boards.
