The Minnesota Wild lost in overtime Saturday night falling to the Anaheim Ducks 4-3.
Matheiu Perrault snuck a back handed shot by Wild goalie Nicholas Backstrom in overtime to send the Wild to their second loss in the young season.
The Wild rallied from a 3-1 deficit on goals from Jason Pominville and Zach Parise to tie it at 3 in the third. For Parise it was his second goal of the night. Two of the Wild’s three goals were on the power play on Saturday.
Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller stopped 30 of the 33 shots against him on Saturday.
The Wild (0-2) will take on the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
