It didn’t take the Wild long to get on the scoreboard either. The captain, Mikko Koivu, gave Minnesota the lead seven minutes in with his eighth goal of the season.
Koivu finished with a goal and an assist for the Wild.
Moments later, Jason Zucker pushed the Wild lead to 2-0, with his 18th goal of the season when he broke free off a Wild line change.

It remained 2-0 Minnesota, late into the second period when Mikael Granlund netted his fifth goal of the season to put the Wild up by three.
It was the first time this season the Wild have beaten the Blackhawks.
Dubnyk stopped all 24 shots he faced, but 40 saves from Corey Crawford kept things from getting too one-sided as Minnesota outshot the Blackhawks 43-24.
Have the #mnwild played a better game this season?
