Tampa Bay Lightning 0
Minnesota Wild 1
Devan Dubnyk had 31 saves to help the Minnesota Wild to a 1-0 shutout win over Tampa Bay Saturday night at Xcel Energy Center.
The team stepped up its defense in response to Zach Parise’s absence from the lineup for an undetermined period of time after he hurt his knee Thursday night.

In the final five seconds of the game, Dubnyk made three straight saves to preserve the win for Minnesota.
2. Spurgeon scores the game-winner
Minnesota’s Jared Spurgeon scored the game’s only goal 26 seconds into the second period on a shot from the right point that went through traffic and flew over the right pad of Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop. Charlie Coyle and Jason Pominville had assists on the goal.
3. Bertschy debuts
Christoph Bertschy had a nice introduction to his NHL career.
Bertschy, who was called up after Parise’s injury, started on a line with Thomas Vanek and Erik Haula. NHL.com says Bertschy brought some extra energy to the game by throwing his body around on the forecheck and disrupting the Lightning’s flow.
