Brian Dozier hit another home run today which gives him the longest extra-base hit streak in all of Major League Baseball in nearly 10 years. Twins PR guy Dustin Morse says Dozier’s 11 straight games with at least one extra-base hit is the longest since Chipper Jones had 14 in a row back in 2006.
Dozier now has the longest extra-base hit streak (11 games) since ARod also hit in 11 straight in '06-'07. Chipper Jones had 14 in '06

In the month of June, Dozier (entering today’s game) is hitting .364 with a ridiculous slugging percentage that’s over .700. Here’s the call of the home run from the Treasure Island Baseball Network.

With Dozier heating up, is he building a case to make a second straight All-Star Game? The actual All-Star ballot closes tonight, but he could be selected in MLB’s final vote for a second consecutive season – if and only if he’s one of the final players on that vote.
