Brian Dozier gave the Twins an early 1-0 lead on Saturday, but that turned out to be all the scoring Minnesota could scratch across in their loss to the Yankees.
After a putrid start to the season, Dozier has begun to find his swing. In the month of June, Dozier is hitting .341 and slugging .588. The home run in the 2nd inning was his ninth of the season.
Here’s the call of the home run from Cory Provus.

In the bottom of the 5th, the Yankees tied the game with an RBI from Carlos Beltran. The game remained tied until the bottom of the 8th when Aaron Hicks scored on a fielders choice to give New York the lead for good.
With the loss, the Twins are now 23-51 on the season and look to avoid being swept tomorrow afternoon with first pitch at 12:05.
