Ryan Doumit has returned from the seven-day disabled list after suffering a concussion and being placed on the DL August 9.
To make room for Doumit, Chris Colabello, who had played well over the last week-plus, was optioned to Triple A Rochester.
Twins demote Chris Colabello to make room for Doumit. Seems an odd choice. Colabello in August: .273/.415/.485, 2 HR, 9 K/8 BB.

Doumit passed his concussion test yesterday, and is eligible to play in tonight’s second game of the Twins four game series against the White Sox.
This allegedly is not the play Doumit sustained the concussion, as this is from August 4, three days before he left the game against Kansas City with concussion-like symptoms, but it couldn’t have helped.
